Poor Frank... left out in the cold. And, left out of the leaders' debate... AGAIN!
Please sign the petition to help get Frank included, even if you aren't a supporter of the Green Party. They got 11% of the popular vote! What more do the televisions networks want!?!
The petition is available at http://www.letfrankin.ca/

I agree. Even though I haven't voted Green before, I think it's high time they are added to the debates. There is nothing wrong with adding one more person/party. Long overdue.
I sent in my petition.
You're so quick with the comments. It's awesome! Thanks Ian!

At this point , and after a lot of reading, I am now not so sure about MMP.
We could end up with a sea of new parties down the road. Much like Italy or Israel. Virtually impossible for any one party to have a mandate.
I will read more, but at this point my vote goes to NO.
I'm not worried about many new parties being formed. First, it is not just a mixed system. So, we are still going to elect the majority of politicians the same way we have always done - first past the post. Second, the new parties would have to get at least 3% of the popular vote before they are awarded any seats... this is no small task. Third, we already have a slue of registered parties to choose from. For example:
-the Communist Party
-the Family Coalition Party
-the Freedom Party
-the Ontario Liberation Party
-the Party of People with Special Needs
-the Reform Party...
Having lots of party's to choose from is a good thing in my opinion. And if one of these parties gets more then 3% of the popular, then why should they have a representative?
I can't see how keeping the electoral system the same would be beneficial for anyone, unless you are liberal or conservative.
